The movie & cosplay extravaganza scheduled for this afternoon has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 20, when the weather should be more cooperative.  In the meantime, sit tight, stay warm, and keep your costumes ready for March 20th!

Vote For The American Anime Awards

Cast your ballots for the first American Anime Awards, to be held February 24, 2007!  According to the Awards' website, "The Awards showcase the very best anime to make its way to North America. The winners are chosen by anime fans themselves."  I think it's great that these are fan-selected awards.  Your voice will be counted!  So go vote, today!

Anime Club: The Return

After a hiatus during January, I'm pleased to announce that the Vogelson Branch's Anime Club will be returning to action on Tuesday, February 6!  We'll be meeting in Room A from 4-5:30 PM.  Snacks will be provided!  We'll be looking at our manga collection & anime CD collection, too, so please bring with you ideas for changes to the series we order, and your pens for editing the list of anime CDs I've made.  Students in grades 6-12 are welcome!

The Voorhees branch's Anime & Manga club meets all Summer long!

When:
Wednesday, July 5: 3:00-4:30 PM
Monday, July 31: 3:00-4:30 PM
Monday, August 28: 3:00-4:30 PM

Where:
Shelf Life, our mini-branch in the Echelon Mall (it's next to New York, New York and across from the Disney Store).

Who:
If you're entering 6th Grade or higher, come on down, and bring a friend, too!

What:
We swap manga, loan DVDs, play some anime-related games, discuss the latest trends, and of course, watch anime from the Library's collection and from the nice people at Anime Advocates.

Refreshments are provided!

Learn Anime!

Come to our Haddon Township Branch on Wednesdays for four anime workshops. Allie, our instructor, is the best at doing anime. Come join her, and she can teach you the tricks of her trade. Learn anime and have great conversation and fun!
