As of yesterday, gamers ages 18 and over can use their Xbox LIVE (the online gaming service that enables you to connect your Xbox to the Internet and play games online) to register to vote in the November presidential elections.

September 9th- Teen Anime and Manga Club @ 4 - 5:30PM

September 11th- Teen Book Club (for 9th - 12th Graders) @ 4PM (We will be reading Stephenie Meyer's Twilight)

September 16th- Teen Gaming Club @ 4 - 6PM

September 23rd- Tween Book Club (for 6th - 8th Graders) @ 4PM (We will be reading Anthony Horowitz's Stormbreaker)

September 25th- Teen Advisory Board (1st Meeting!!!!!) @ 4 - 5:30 PM

September 30th -"Back to School Bag" Craft @ 4PM

New Teen Librarian

Hi everyone!  My name is Christen and I am the new Teen Librarian at the Vogelson (aka Voorhees) Branch of the Camden County Library.  I have been with the library system now for 2 1/2 years.  First, as an intern, then as the Children's Librarian at our Gloucester Township Branch, and now as your Teen Librarian!  I am sooooo excited to be here! 

A little bit about me... I love to read, hang out with my friends, play with my dog, and dance!  I'm pretty talkative, so if you're ever by the Children's Desk, feel free to come over and chat me up.  Oh... and my two most favorite things to eat... sushi and Cold Stone Creamery!  Mmmmmmm!!!

I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you real soon.  Keep your eyes open for our brand new Teen Advisory Board, Teen and Tween Book Clubs, and some all around fantabulous programming!
