New, new, new at Vogelson: you can now check out teen magazines and take them home to read.
Here's the scoop:
- Back issues circulate
- Current issues don't circulate
- Current issues are organized in alphabetical order on a big browser in the Teen Zone on the 1st Floor
- Back issues are organized in magazine holder boxes on top of the set of shelves next to the big browser
- You can check them out for 7 days
- You can renew twice for 7 more days with each renewal
Titles we have in currently include: CosmoGirl!, Ignite Your Faith, J-14, Mad, Thrasher, Teen Vogue, Vibe, and WWE Magazine.
Titles we're waiting on with baited breath include: Comics Journal, Newtype USA, Justine, Mental Floss, Newtype USA, Shojo Beat, Shonen Jump.
There are more titles -- a total of 32 right now, with some seasonal mags like American Idol and all the Prom magazines to come this winter & spring -- but you'll have to come to the library to see them. Want more magazines? Yeah, you do. Leave your suggestions in the comments and when it's time to order more next year, I'll submit your requests!
