New Downloadable Audiobook Provider for Camden County Library

The Camden County Library has switched to a new downloadable audiobook provider, Overdrive.  Here's why:

• Overdrive offers nearly 2000 popular audiobook titles. as well as eBooks available in Adobe pdf and Mobipocket format. 

• With Overdrive you install a small program to your computer that lets you quickly and easily download audiobooks and transfer them to your mobile device. 

• The files are split up into chapters.  While you can download the entire book at once if you wish, you can also download just one or a few chapters at a time, and get started listening right away!  You can also transfer chapters to a smaller mobile device that would not hold an entire audiobook.

• Many of the audiobooks can be burned to CD to listen in your car.

New - Downloadable Video from Camden County Library

The Camden County Library System is now offering MyLibraryDV, a unique video-on-demand service. All you need is a library card and a broadband Internet connection to have access to hundreds of DVD-quality videos covering a wide range of interests.

You will find over 450 videos including Antiques Roadshow, America's Test Kitchen, Rick Steves' Europe, Today's Homeowner, independent films from Film Movement and an array of classics. MyLibraryDV is constantly adding entertaining and educational programming for you to enjoy. There are no waiting lists for any of the videos in the collection.
