“The library is a place where people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life can come and grow together. A great library serves as a community center and can play a positive role in creating and maintaining economic growth,” says Camden County Library Director Linda Devlin.

“This year’s National Library Week theme is ‘Communities Thrive @ Your Library.’ It’s a celebration of libraries as a valued community service and resource. Help us celebrate National Library Week.  Explore the benefits and value that your library brings to Camden County’s thriving communities,” adds Devlin in extending an invitation to all the county’s residents.

National Library Week is an annual celebration of the contributions that libraries, librarians and library workers make to our communities, schools and colleges both here in Camden County and nationwide. It has been observed since 1958 when the American Library Association sponsored the first NLW.
